Seasonal Fall Arrangement

Fall arrangements draw on the warm, rich palette of the late garden: golds, bronzes, deep reds, and burgundies. Dried elements and seed pods add textural interest that makes fall bouquets distinct.

Fall Flowers

Focal: late dahlias, sunflowers
Warm tones: celosia, marigolds, rudbeckia, zinnias
Dried: strawflowers, amaranth, nigella pods, dried yarrow
Foliage: ornamental grasses, eucalyptus

A Simple Fall Recipe

3 stems celosia (cockscomb, rust) + 5 stems rudbeckia + 3 stems draping amaranth + 3 stems bunny tail grass + a few strawflowers. Arrange in a stoneware or copper vessel.

Mixing Fresh and Dried

Fall is the perfect time to combine fresh flowers with dried elements. The dried pieces extend the life of the arrangement—as fresh flowers fade, you can remove them and the dried material keeps the display going.
